Canadian Senator sounding the alarm on the dangers of foreign agent registries

In 1923, the Canadian government passed the Chinese Exclusion Act, which banned virtually all Chinese immigrants from entering the country for 24 years, and restrictions were not fully removed until 1967.

As David Akin reports, amid allegations of foreign interference in Canada's federal elections, Sen. Yuen Pau Woo is worried the proposed foreign agent registry could be a modern version of that 100-year-old law.
