Birdata App -Bird Surveys Instructional Video

Contribute sightings of woodland birds on your project site or property by recording direct to the Birdata app. Through Hunter LLS Woodland Birds and Key Habitats of the Hunter programs, LLS encourages community members, landcare groups and project participants to our projects to actively learn more about woodland birds and actively report them to the Birdata app. We encourage use of the app, not only as a citizen science tool, but also to manage and monitor changes to woodland bird sightings over time. Birdata(developed by BirdLife Australia) was formerly the online tool for entering data into the Atlas of Australian Birds. With the redesign, Birdata expands to take in data from the Atlas project and also from various dedicated monitoring projects including LLS Regent Honeyeater and Swift Parrot survey and woodland bird programs. Birdata is the most convenient and efficient method of contributing to these programs.
