I have wanted to have today’s guest on the podcast for a LONG time and this episode is worth the wait! Today we are joined by a true trailblazer, Rose Ayling-Ellis.

Rose has achieved so many firsts, including being the first deaf person to win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and her unforgettable ‘silent’ performance even won her a BAFTA.

After acting for 13 years, which has taken her from 'Eastenders' to 'Doctor Who', Rose has landed her first lead role in ITV’s new show, ‘Code of Silence.’ Plot spoiler: it’s INCREDIBLE!

So much of this conversation will stay with me for a long time, but especially when Rose said, “I am doing all of these things to try and build a ladder, to leave a ladder behind for other deaf people to climb up.” That is why Rose is SO special!
