Please consult a healthcare professional for mental and physical healthcare needs. I, Noah Thomas, have been diagnosed with hypogonadism and prescribed Testosterone Replacement Therapy. My Story My name is Noah and on May 18, 2011, I had a rare reaction to a medication called VIVITROL, leading to a suicidal depression with depersonalization and anxiety. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in near panic for 8 weeks, experiencing the darkest depression imaginable. I could not work and had to move in with my parents, who watched me 24/7 as I was a danger to myself. I was hospitalized in the Psych Ward for a week. Each day felt unbearable, and I feared for my life. I was put on many medications with little improvement for a year. It was decided I had treatment-resistant depression. Weeks after starting Seroquel & Nortryptaline, my blood test showed low testosterone levels. This discovery explained my struggles, as symptoms of Low T resemble major depression. I started testosterone replacement therapy and have documented my experience and insights on mental health. Over the last 6 years, I have slowly improved and become more stable. I do not consider myself fully healed but aim to use my experiences to help others. I successfully came off Seroquel and Pamelor and work out regularly as part of my recovery! Weight training and cardio occupy much of my free time, which I also share on my channel. Noah Thomas (bignoknow) is an affiliate of LetsGetChecked.
