This video is a guide for everything you need to use brushless motors in a combat robot. I'll cover what you need to do in software and on your transmitter (TX) to get Blheli_32 ESCs to control your motors exactly how you want. I'll also cover the exact way I configured my ESCs and transmitter for drive, weapon, and dual motor weapon configurations.

Blheli_32 is a very advanced ESC firmware which has a ton of confusing sounding features, but this guide will tell you everything needed not only to set them up but what all of the relevant settings really do and mean. It's a lot more straightforward than it sounds as for a combat bot there are really only a couple settings that have more than one good way to be set. You can even create custom startup music for your bot!

It was brought to my attention BlHeliSuite and BlHeliSuite32 are distinct and different software packages. You need to use 32 (which is linked above) not the other one. Just to reduce confusion.

Also, corrections: PWM Frequency evidently refers to the frequency at which the MOSFETs on the ESC are triggered, and not as I said the communication frequency. There is a minor tradeoff of peak power for low RPMs at high frequency but the smoothness benefit generally outweighs this.
