Xavier Rathan-Mayes | THE COMEBACK

Xavier Rathan-Mayes made his dream come true in 2018 when he made his NBA debut with the Memphis Grizzlies. Since that time, Xavier's basketball journey has taken him all over the world, he has played professionally in Greece, Israel, his home country of Canada, and now back in the G League as he sets his eye on a return to the NBA.

This season, Xavier played with the Clippers G League affiliate, Agua Caliente Clippers, he averaged 13.5 ppg, 4.2, rpg, 6.1 apg, 1.1 spg, all while battling through a hip and groin injury. When Covid-19 cancelled the G League season, Xavier used the opportunity to get much needed surgery.

In June, Fresh Focus Sports caught up with Xavier to document part of his rehab, while training in Southern California.
