Winter ended a couple weeks ago, making it one of the driest seasons in Flagstaff history. The dry winter has taken a toll on Lake Mary, which is half empty.

With Lake Mary being one of Flagstaff's main water sources, Water Conservation Specialist Audrey Kruse says now is the time to be mindful of our water use, and to start conserving.

Meteorologist Lee Born discusses just how dry it has been all over Arizona. 90% of the state is in a drought, with 50% of that being extreme. This was the 11th driest winter for Flagstaff since 1899, and for the next three months, we can expect to be below average with water.
