Better than Santorini or Mykonos? Check out Kea!

Calling the island of Kea undiscovered might not be quite accurate. For five million residents of Athens, it is their secret getaway. Located just twelve miles off of the mainland, Kea is an easy spot to spend a few days.

I went in December and even though Kea is a summer destination, it still offered plenty in the way of history, adventure, food and more.
