Palmer® Presents Guitar Cabinets With Versatile Speaker Options

Palmer presents its new second generation guitar speaker cabinets. The cabinets are available in 1×12” and 2×12” formats, and are available with different Celestion speakers, as well as empty cabinets. With the new guitar cabinets – in open and closed-back designs – Palmer is offering users plentiful options for high-quality guitar sounds that are convincing on stage, in the studio and at home when practising.

After the guitar itself and the amplifier, the speaker cabinet is the third decisive component that shapes the overall sound. Based on decades of experience in amplifier and loudspeaker construction, Palmer is now launching the second generation of its popular guitar speaker cabinets. Depending on the sound requirements and the area of application, the cabs have either one or two 12” speakers from the British manufacturer Celestion: users can choose between the iconic Creamback, Greenback and Vintage 30 series.

The new Palmer guitar speakers have a robust MDF cabinet that can withstand the rigours of everyday touring. The front is equipped with a removable fabric grille, which enables precise miking and uncomplicated replacement of the speakers. The models with an open rear panel can also be miked from both sides. While the 1×12” models have a parallel circuit for connecting additional speaker cabinets, the 2×12” models are additionally equipped with an integrated mono and stereo mode.
