Hermes H Belt Kit Unboxing & Initial Review

This is my unboxing and initial review/reaction video to opening the Hermès (Hermes) H Belt 32 Kit.

My Hermès H belt 32 kit arrived via FedEx 7 days after I ordered it online. They do have an option for fast shipping, but I wasn't in any rush to receive it, so I didn't pay the extra amount; I simply used their free shipping option. When I received it that day, I immediately pulled out the camera to record this video to show you a rare full and complete unboxing of the Hermès H belt kit 32.

It arrived in a shiny packaging with only "H.com" listed as the name of the sender. That makes sense because I can imagine that Hermès doesn't want to draw any attention to the fact that there's something ridiculously expensive inside, since everything at Hermès is extremely expensive.

I cut opened the shiny packaging with scissors to reveal a normal unmarked brown cardboard box. Inside the cardboard box, the classic Hermès orange box with ribbon awaited. The box presentation was very pretty and for a second I didn't want to open to package because it looked picturesque. I got over that quickly and after taking several thumbnail photos for this YouTube video, I pealed off the ribbon. I then opened the box to reveal the Hermès H belt kit.

The Hermès H Belt Kit 32 that I chose to order was a Brushed Palladium Buckle with a Noir and Gold leather reversible strap. When I opened the protective sack and saw the H 32 Brushed Palladium Buckle, I realized it was a great choice because it seemed to match my Rolex DateJust II perfectly. The H 32 Brushed Palladium Buckle has bushed white metal on the face with white polished metal on the sides of the H. My Rolex DateJust II has bushed and polished stainless steel, so the match appears to be spot on. The leather belt appears to be of great quality and I'm very happy with the classic colors I chose. Since one side is noir (aka, black) and the other size is gold (aka, tan-ish brown), I will be able to wear it with black shoes and also some brown shoes. I'm still trying to determine whether or not I can wear it with my dark brown business shoes, but I will have to test it out. I do plan on wearing it with mostly business attire.

I purchased the size 80 cm long belt and it seems to fit me perfectly. My pant size at the waist is a 30 inch. I do have a very small waist; I'm not short, but just very tall and thin. To find out your size, measure around your waist and record the measurement in centimeters (cm). The measurement that Hermès uses is at the middle of the 3 holes. When I was ordering, I remember being concerned that Hermès was using the measurement of the belt from end-to-end, but they don’t. It's just as simple as you would think. However, I will say to measure around your waist wearing pants that you plan on wearing the belt with, then record in centimeters (cm), and find the belt size that is closest to that measurement.
