1st Gen Tundra - Why are my tires bald?

Описание к видео 1st Gen Tundra - Why are my tires bald?

This video has been in the making for a while. After a time with this truck, I noticed it was a bit unstable on the road. The truck darted after hitting potholes, and the tires would squeal during low-speed turns. I brought it for an alignment only to find out most of the front end was seized up. The estimate given to me by the mechanic was simply out of the question. I recognize that not everything in this video needed to be done. However, while I was taking everything apart, I decided to go all out and replace everything to make the front end of this truck as reliable as possible for years to come. I should also mention that I got the steering rack replaced. I was willing to try replacing it on my own, but some of the connections involved in that job were super corroded and beyond my patience level at the time. Overall, everything in this video is very doable with time and the right tools. I am very jealous of the folks living in southern climates where rust is not an issue. This truck has been oil sprayed for most of its life and has got another coat of oil before the winter season. Thanks for watching!
