Former Reform UK candidate Mayuran Senthilnathan has issued a warning over UK Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero Ed Miliband as he branded him a “net zero extremist”.

“While we have pensioners struggling to heat their homes, he is spending billions upon billions of taxpayers' money chasing and looking to decarbonize the national grid which many experts say is actually impossible,” Mr Senthilnathan told Sky News Australia.

“He himself doesn’t really understand how to do it and it was an embarrassing moment where he actually wrote an open letter to the national grid asking for ideas as to how to actually do this.”
