Spiti Valley, my first trip as a FULL TIME VLOGGER, I'm covering the entire Spiti circuit in summer, documenting everything in English. This is the second video from the series where we stop at Kalpa for a day and take a bus to Tabo.
We visited Spiti on May 20th. It took 8 days to do the complete circuit.

3 ways of doing Spiti:
1. Travel groups

If you don’t want to figure out all the legs of the trip OR you are alone and need some company OR need expert guidance along the way, then this way is right for you. The prices are quite reasonable and overall a 1 click booking with everything taken care of

If you’re like us (30 :P ) and are not comfortable being stuck in a group of 10 strangers, then the other ways might be more suitable

2) Personal vehicle (cars, bikes) / rental
Rent of car and driver is expensive, but if that’s sorted for you or you have your own vehicle and a HIGHLY PROFICIENT DEIVER, this is the best way. You’ll have the freedom of changing the itinerary as per your convenience and will not have to carry heavy bags. All the routes are super scenic and I would have loved the freedom of stopping as I wanted. But the drives would be long and terrain is bad, so be prepared.

3) HRTC Buses

If you don’t fall into the above two categories, HRTC got your back. Once you understand the bus timings etc, it’s quite convenient and you get to do it in its true essence / as locals do. You’ll see the lives of locals up close, drivers are highly skilled and overall this experience is unmatched.

Pro tip: sit on the front seat because the panoramic views are breathtaking!!!!

Follow this 8 day itinerary to comfortably cover all of it:
Day 0, Leave from Delhi,
Day 1, Early morning Shimla, Chitkul by evening
Day 2: leave for Kalpa by 12pm bus, reach by 4, spend the night there
Day 3: Take a 9 am bus from Recong peo (near Kalpa) bus stand, Leave for Nako
Day 4 Take 2pm bus coming from Recong peo to Kaza, get down at Tabo
Day 5: Take 3pm bus to Kaza, spend the evening checking out cafés like Deyzor, cafe Piti, Sol cafe
Day 6: rent bike / cab from Kaza - key monastery, chicham bridge, kibber, langza, hikkim

Day 7: rent bike / cab from Kaza- pin valley, dhankar, Mudh village

Day 8: leave for Manali
