As typical of putin and the kremlin politics, lying, propaganda, disinformation and fake news are their hallmark. They don’t need reasons before they do anything because reasons can easily be manufactured by them. So in this episode we track putin’s lies and propaganda in their invasion of Ukraine
Before putin’s full invasion of Ukraine on the 24th of febuary, the US told the world that putin will invade Ukraine before the winter Olympics end or just after the winter Olympics. Joe Biden, Anthony blinklen, Emmanuel macron, olaf scholz tried to convince putin not invade Ukraine as it will bring enormous pain and suffering. Putin only came to dismiss the claim and call it western hysteria but on the 24/02/2022, putin invaded Ukraine. LIE#1
LIE#2. Putin said, he is in Ukraine to denazify Ukraine. What denazification mean, it is only him who can explain. Eventually they are grabbing ukraine’s land, stealing grains, looting Ukrainian homes. Stealing metals, sunflower seeds, children etc. it is estimated that putin force have stolen 600,000 tons of grains, 3, 000 tons of metals, 300, 000 children and over 15, 000 tons of sunflower seed, putin has grab 20% of ukraine’s land.
LIE#3. Putin said they are in Ukraine to protect ethnic Russians in Ukraine. Ethnic Russians in Ukraine were never under any attack to be protected. It was putin’s army and Putin’ wagner mercenaries that were operating in the donbass as separatist. They have massacred Ukrainians since 2014. Putin has killed more ethnic Russians than ethnic Ukrainians in Ukraine. Kharviv, sumy, konotop, melitopol, mariupol, kramatosk, etc are all ethnic Russian cities. But they are the target of putin’s everyday missiles.
LIE#4. That the USA has biological weapon labs in Ukraine. The world is still waiting for putin to show the world his evidence which have never come.
Putin’s war on Ukraine is a wakeup call to countries that every country is on its own. Though Poland, the usa, the uk have shown to be great friends on Ukraine, most counties especially European nations have disappointed and betrayed Ukraine.
