MAKING A KNIFE

Описание к видео MAKING A KNIFE

Making a knife from 1095 steel, a brass concrete edger for the guard, and a water buffalo horn I got from a family member awhile back. He already had the shape on the handle that he wanted. I used the same process to make this knife that I did for the ANTLER HANDLE KNIFE. You can watch that video here:    • ANTLER HANDLE KNIFE
To get the copper color on the blade I soaked it in a copper tainted ferric chloride acid. Just dump 20-30 cents into acid and let it dissolve. I originally started out to make the blade look like a flint knapp blade but liked how it looked after the heat treat so I left it rough and rustic.
