Lisa McKimmie
Lisa McKimmie, a celebrated visual artist based in Balmain, Sydney. As an artist, Lisa's diverse interests have led her to engage in public art workshops, fringe festivals, parades, set painting, plein air street drawing + delving into the history and chemistry of art materials. These pursuits have not only enriched her artistic practice, but also provided her with a wealth of knowledge on safety and sustainability in the visual arts realm.

A Western Australian Academy of Performing Visual Arts alumnus, Lisa refined her printmaking skills at the National Art School and obtained a Master of Visual Art from UNSW. In 2020, she returned to Sydney, showcasing her work in a solo exhibition at Gaffa Gallery, subsequently earning multiple award nominations and accolades.

Lisa's recent achievements include Runner Up in the Remagine Eco Art Prize, a BigCi residency, and reaching the semi-finals of the Doug Moran Portrait Prize. Flinders Street Gallery now proudly represents her work.
