Journey back to the Second World War and discover incredible stories about our brave lifesavers’ involvement in the Dunkirk evacuation, the Battle of Britain and the many incredible women who helped the RNLI from the home front.

Looking at how our crews saved lives at sea during major moments in the Second World War, it’s a space to discover first-hand accounts from those who were there and to commemorate their bravery, which continues to inspire us today.

You can find the exhibition in the main gallery, on the ground floor by the café, @poolelighthouse. It’s completely free to visit and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am until 8pm, from now until 28 February.
