Historical changes in Indian Economic Sector:
Initially Primary sector most important
Later, people took up other activities
However, most of the goods produced were natural products from the primary sector.
Factories started expanding
Secondary sector gradually became most important
Further shift from secondary to tertiary sector
In 2010-11, the tertiary sector replaced primary sector and emerged as the largest producing sector in India
