I wrote this song initially for one of my favorite artists, Lady Gaga. I had been watching many interviews of her and she often talks about having felt like a "freak" when she was in high school and how people still judge her and make asumptions about her and her music.

It kind of reminded me of what high school was like most of the time. I always felt very left out, alone, and outcast by the other kids my age. I felt very misunderstood. Being gay in a small town conservative school made it even harder at times. I'd get harassed and all the joy that comes along with being gay, so a lot of the times I was made out to feel like I was a freak too. Like there was something wrong with me. I have since become very accepting of myself and I don't have any problem with it anymore.

Anyways! I wrote this song for everyone who has ever been made to feel like a freak or an outsider. I love you all! No matter who you are :D You are not alone
