When we think about Helping others we often think about the homeless or some distant and less fortunate demographic. But people like you and me have their own battles to fight...watch as we show our support to our fellow Bajans during this rough time.

You can also show your support and do something to help those in need. Let's be an example to get corporate Barbados on board in providing resources and showing their support.

Barbados has been struggling with serious water challenges over the last few months. The island has been identified as one of the top 15 most water scarce nations in the world, but this statistic has never really hit home to locals. Whenever we turn the faucet on, most of us have water. In some areas, whenever we have a water outage it's a big uproar that happens once in a while.

However things have definitely changed. Many rural communities in Barbados have been struggling with water outages for months. One of the locals that we met in this video said that she was without stable water supple for all of 2016 and she has been catching water from standpipes and water trucks most of the time. She explained that she had to walk to collect this water because she did not have her own transportation and that getting to the nearest standpipe meant walking downhill and then ambling back up with her water rations each and ever day.

Meanwhile, most folks living in town ( urban areas) didn't feel these effects. WE heard about them, but never had to worry about it. However, one day we got a small taste of what our brother in St. Joseph, St. Andrew and St. Lucy were going through. So we decided to show a little support, to provide them with a bit of water and some clean containers....just so that they know, they are not in this alone.
