On First Take, with Domonique Foxworth, they discuss the Los Angeles Chargers and their quarterback Justin Herbert. They also discuss who is going to win the AFC West.

I think it is going to be a toss up between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers. But, I would like the Los Angeles Chargers to win.

The Los Angeles Chargers, with Justin Herbert in control, is a brewing storm. Justin Herbert is ranked the 2nd best quarterback in the league for a reason! Keenan Allen is the Chargers top wide receiver and he had 106 receptions for 1,138 yards last season. Joey Bosa is an absolute beast off the edge, and new addition Kahlil Mack just makes things scary for the Los Angeles Chargers defense.

The Kansas City Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, will be a problem for the next 10 years. The loss of Tyreek Hill has to hurt. But, Patrick Mahomes is good enough to compensate for the loss, plus he still has JuJu Smith Schuster and Travis Kelce.

Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders went 10-7 last season, and lost in the Wild Card. Derek Carr always has something to prove, and he can. New addition Davante Adams is an absolute baller that will complement Derek Carr very nicely.

The Denver Broncos, with new addition Russell Wilson, will be very dangerous with him in control. It might take some time to make some adjustments, but Russell Wilson is a baller that can make those adjustments and win!

An interesting side note, 3 out of the 4 quarterbacks in the AFC West are ranked top 5 in the NFL. Justin Herbert is ranked #2, Patrick Mahomes is ranked #4, Derek Carr is ranked #5. Russell Wilson is ranked 22nd, but that doesn't mean he is not dangerous. Obviously, statistics do not mean everything, but it is a good start.
