In this video, we will configure multi-wan load balancing on OpenWRT 21.02 with LuCI. I am going to load balancing 2 WAN ports - one in DHCP client and the other WAN port will be configured in PPPoE client, on VLAN 35.
I will also show you how to configure your LAN port as a WAN port, and then create a VLAN interface on top of it.
In order to configure load balancing with mwan3, the network interfaces should have a specific gateway metric (in Network - Interfaces). And then, in mwan3, those interfaces with the same metric will be load balanced. To make it simple, we just need to assign the mwan interfaces the same metric and same weight in order to work.
