Hello, world, and welcome back to Goochies BBQ - My name is Ian, and on today's episode will be cooking Pulled Pork!

This is my first video, and I'm not a presenter, so please go easy on me. My hope is that I'll get more confident and my channel progresses, the content and quality will improve, so please provide feedback :-) All comments are helpful.

This is one of the easiest cooks on a smoker, and I used my kettle grill to show you that you don't need an expensive smoker to enjoy good smoked meat!

The cook
I used a 2kg pork shoulder brought from Asda. Removed the string, removed the skin and tied it back up.
I seasoned it with my all-purpose rub (SPG) and BBQ rub. I went pretty heavy, and please, don't forget to season all of your meat!

I then fired up my kettle grill in a snake method and lit one end. I dotted hickory chucks thought-out and brought up the temperature to around 250F ( 120C )
I placed the meat away from the coals and left for around 6 hours, spraying it with apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce to ensure the meat didn't dry out.

After around 6 hours, or when the internal temperature reaches 160F ( 70C ), I then remove it from the smoker and wrap it tightly in tin foil, and place it in my oven at around 250F to help tender up and bring the internal temperature up to about 200F ( 95C )

You should leave it to rest for 30 minutes, then it's ready to pull. Add a dash of your favourite BBQ as you wish.
