Barbara (Hodge) Roach and Ron Dailey originally recorded “He Pilots My Ship” together for The LeFevres’ 1972 album Now and Always. Although both singers left the group before the album was released, their original performances remained part of that project. Following their departure, The LeFevres released the album with a new cover featuring the new members photographed in front of Urias and Eva Mae LeFevre’s home in Sandy Spring, Georgia.

Given its personal history and enduring message, it felt especially fitting to include “He Pilots My Ship” on the Reunited – Timeless project—bringing this song full circle with voices closely connected to its original recording.
