A postgraduate in Statistics decides to follow his passion for food rather than dabble with numbers. His mother supports his decision. With this encouragement from home, he starts exploring his options. That's when his four friends decide to join him in his journey. Their brainstorming and research help them to come up with an idea - an upbeat cafe in an area where people don't have many options to enjoy cafe culture. And, the Cafe Nostalgia idea was born.

With minimal budget in their hand and zeal to work hard, they took off. They designed their own cafe working day and night building the cafe, peeling the bamboos for the roof, drawing graffiti and paintings on the wall and creating the artefacts for the cafe's retro theme. Lo and behold! They converted an open terrace into a beautiful cafe. Thus, started a journey.

Eventually, their hard work paid off when their guest list started becoming longer day-by-day. Their unique menu got thumps up from food lovers and the ambience that they had created was loved by the people who were looking for a hangout to cherish their special moments with friends and family.

Within a year, the cafe became a go to place for people in and around Mira Road. The cafe is getting such a good response that these young entrepreneurs are now trying to spread their wings and about to set their footprints in other locations. They are now set to give franchise of their brand.
