Painted Face: Ted Kibble 1985/2023

This demo was written by Ted Kibble around 1985 in Columbus, Ohio. It was originally recorded onto an Otari 8-track tape machine with Ted singing the lead vocal as well as adding additional parts along with Dave Owen. Dave had recently purchased a Roland JX-8P synthesizer where both Ted and Dave recorded more backing tracks. It was then mixed down to a stereo dub. Fast forward to 2023 where Dave extracted Ted's vocal from the 1985 stereo mix and created an entirely new arrangement around Ted's existing vocal part. Ted loved his hounds and they sing Dave's backing vocals in the video! Eventually, the original demo will be posted here as well in the future.
