I love preloved. Like, REALLLLLLY Love it . I've seen a lot and am much more accepting and understanding that wear happens. When buying designer bags (especially if you want to save some $$) it helps to not be afraid of a scratch here and there. BUT EVEN I HAVE MY LIMITS

1. Yellowing - https://bit.ly/355l5nW This happens as a result of UV rays! The plastic coating will yellow due to prolonged exposure to sunlight- like the reverse of sun bleaching- You can see this with Chanel rain boots (EXAMPLE https://bit.ly/3gYiEpS ) these are vintage and we tend to see them 20 years on with a beige-y tone- the original color was a much cooler- more true white.
2. - the main way to prevent this from happening is by storing patent leather in a dustbag. BUT BE CAREFUL- this can lead to COLOR TRANSFER⬇️

1. -Color transfer on patent leather bags happens by the varnish coming in contact with outside dyes. For some reason the outside dyes seep into the coating and locks inside.
