Doom (1993) was way better than Wolfenstein.
Quake is way way way better than Doom.
It is even better than Doom 2016.

Nice level design and really great atmosphere, it would probably be my favorite episode if it wasn't of the abuse of Spawn monster in some levels.
It is a mix of the lowest low and highest high of what Quake have to offer.
I had and equal amount of fun and frustration while playing this episode.

I dislike the sentry drone (robot that explode) of Duke Nukem 3D, I despise the Lost Souls/Pain Elemental of DOOM64 but I hate with a passion the Spawn in this game.
It is without a doubt in my top 3 worst enemies of any FPS games that I have played.
The Orgre might be one of the best enemy ever created, the Shambler & Fiend are really good enemies design, the Vore is one of the most interesting enemy. I don't know what the idea was with the Spawn, I have no clue what they were thinking because this enemy make absolutely 0 sense with the gameplay of Quake.

I thought it will be the worse enemy Quake have to offer, until I tried Scourge of Armagon with those giant flesh floating mines that one shot you when you enter in a room a little bit too fast, another good enemy to piss you off and that make even less sense in a fast paced FPS like this one, but they are less annoying since you encounter them way less often than the Spawn.
