So far, we understood the number series pattern, alphabet series pattern while learning the tricks of solving such questions asked in competitive exams like SSC, BANK PO, IBPS, RAILWAY, AFCAT, etc.
In today’s episode, we are covering the Alphanumeric Series and the Continuous Pattern series-based questions.

The alphanumeric series will have questions using both numbers and the alphabet like 2B, 4C, 8E, 14H…? To solve such reasoning questions, you will first have to identify the gap between the given series or say, figure out the pattern used; the tricks of which are explained with suitable examples.

In the continuous pattern, you will have questions like “ a_ ba_b_ b_a_b” where you will have to fill the blanks using the options as given.

For solving such patterns, you can either fill the options given and try solving. Or you can count the total number of letters in the series. Divide them into pair of 3 or 4 and then try to understand the pattern.
