Solo Grandmaster Nightfall "Birthplace of the Vile" with Wish-Keeper - Strand Hunter - Destiny 2

Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall Birthplace of the Vile with Wish-Keeper on Strand Hunter - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Gilded Conqueror - Wish-Keeper - Cyrtarachne's Facade - Platinum Rank - Strand Hunter - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.

For a Hunter clear of the week I decided to use the final shape of Wish-Keeper Strand exotic bow. It is fun but it's mostly a gimmick weapon. In the boss room it lost its usefulness with all the rushing enemies that are rather difficult get precision hits on. I had a plan for each boss phase but sadly it remarkably failed for boss phase 3, which was very rough to recover from. It should be a fun watch though!

As the bow does not do enough damage I am pairing it with Strand Hunter with Cyrtarachne's Facade and Whirling Maelstrom aspect. The whole point of this build is to spam Grapple to get Woven Mail (Cyrtarachne's Facade exotic), generate Tangles with weapon kills while Woven Mail is active (Thread of Transmutation fragment), destroy those Tangles and create Whirling Maelstroms. Maelstroms do a lot of damage and can clean up entire rooms of enemies on their own. You can infinitely spam Grapple as Widow's Silk aspect generates grapple points, which refund Grapple charge. It is a very fun and strong build to use, and I will definitely do more GMs with that. Also, constant uptime on Woven Mail makes it much easier to survive.

Other than that, I have a Solar Autorifle (Abyss Defiant) with Reconstruction and Target Lock to deal with Overload Champions while saving rockets. Lastly, I have a Solar Rocket Launcher (Apex Predator) to finish the bigger targets off. Honestly, I would love to use some different heavy weapon but overload options are not great this season, and having a rocket that can instantly destroy overload champions is a must in the boss room.
