Visiting The UP Big Boy 4014 + Railfanning At The Famous Railroad Park, Rochelle, IL!

A couple weekends ago, I drove 4 hours (there and back) to Rochelle, IL to visit the UP 4014 (Big Boy), which was on display inside UP’s Global III Intermodal Terminal. We stayed at the event for about half an hour before moving to the famous Railroad Park! There were TONS of people there, including some of my buddies! We also ended up getting a decent amount of trains in the few hours that we were there, including a few notable catches! After we left the railpark, we went east a few blocks down the road to the BNSF crew office for the local that works out of there (BNSF R-CHI476). The power for the local was tied down in a siding, and the consist was pretty based! In the lead was BNSF 1706 (BN Original Paint SD40-2) and BNSF 1786 (which I believe is an ex-BN painted 40-2)! We only stayed for a few minutes to get some pictures of it, as well as getting to capture it with a BNSF intermodal going by it heading towards the park! After that, I had a good 4 hour drive back home, and I had school the next day, so we decided to pack up and leave. All in all an AMAZING day! Enjoy the video!
