I know that the UCAT exam is daunting. Last year, at this time, my UCAT exam was 2 and a half weeks away and I remember feeling stressed and scared. I was scared that I would panic during the exam and not score as highly. I was scared that I would not get a good score. I was wondering if I worked enough. But, now in hindsight, I realised that I had a few tips and tricks to keep my stress levels low and my fear at bay.

So here is the advice that I have for you:
- If you know that you did your best, that you stayed committed to your revision plan and that you worked hard, be PROUD of yourself and be proud even before the exam. Realise how far you've come and how much you grew through the process. Realise that you are stronger now. And for that, you should be proud regardless of the score you get on exam day.
- Remember that your score is just a number and that it does not define you. One way to do that is to follow my first advice and feel PROUD of yourself even before you do the exam. This will help you realise that how you feel about yourself should not be dictated by a number on a page.
- On the day of the exam, FOCUS. Focus all your energy on the exam and visualise everything that is important. Visualise the time you have and remember how it feels. Focus on what you need to remember (the techniques, tips and tricks you learnt). Remember to make sure that your pen works, that you have a sweater is you are cold. Try to think about all the things you need to bring and remember before you sit the exam. This will allow you to arrive with a calm energy for the test because you have already tackled all the other things that could stress you.
- Only think about the now. Do not think about the past where you got a bad score in a mock or the future. If you focus all your energy on the now and just do question after question, you will not have the time to be preoccupied by the future. It is usually when we think about the possible negative outcomes that we panic. If you don't think about them, there is no reason for you to panic.

I hope that this video was able to help you for your exam day and encourage you. Be proud of yourself. You got this!

If you've made it this far, thank you for your support and don't forget that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" - Friedrich Nietzsche (it's cheesy but it's true 😊 so remember that whatever the outcome of this exam, you are stronger now)
