This week we change gears a bit, and we are going to show you a new tool that is available to some of our SOF operators. It’s pretty straight forward in the video. This is a Tire Deflator that attaches to the standard flash hider of the M16/M4 family of rifles. It allows operators to silently deflate tires on target without having to use a knife. If you run across a vehicle with self-sealing tires, you can use one of the collars, that is designed to remain in the tire (after stabbing) to hold the hole open. A operator could carry dozens of these collars and quickly reset them in seconds.

The cool part is you can still shoot the rifle. It is a very fun tool. It has very minimal applications, but is still fun to play with. Please note that it only fit the standard birdcage flash hider, and would not fit on any of my AAC brakes or other brands. That said, if a military unit ran a specific style of brake, this deflator could be reverse engineered to fit that muzzle brake or flash hider.
