20 Thickness planer JET JWP-12 review

I have a lot of wood laying around, not that good quality but to good for the fireplace. Sanding this wood to something good is a waste of time and would be very expensive on sandpaper. So I bought this thickness planer. My first choice was the DeWALT, but then I watched Mathias Wandels review about this, it looked like an excellent machine, only the blades are 'one use only': dull then throw away, not my idea for a good tool. Then I came up this JET, the reviews on the net seemed good, almost all in russian. So I bought it and I must say for this price it is a very good investment, easy to operate, fast and gives a very good result. If the blades become dull you can sharpen them yourself, and good they gave a set of spare blades, if you start a job and see that the blades are dull, you put in the spare onces, no need to sharpen immediately.
