Biasing Double-Ended Amplifier Output Tubes, Part 2: Demonstration and Discussion

Описание к видео Biasing Double-Ended Amplifier Output Tubes, Part 2: Demonstration and Discussion

This is Part 2 of 2 videos explaining how to bias output tubes in double-ended amplifiers, including those which are cathode or grid biased. A detailed demonstration of the process, using the output transformer method of plate current measurement, is performed, and is followed by an interpretation of the results and a discussion of how to adjust the bias if it isn't correct or if the output tubes are badly mismatched. Throughout the presentation, emphasis is placed on safety, and safe techniques are clearly demonstrated. NOTE: With cathode-biased output tubes, the Plate Voltage should be measured from plate to cathode, not plate to ground.
