With PHP 5.6 there are some great new features. We'll go over some of these features and how to use them. This includes variadic functions, constant scalar expressions, exponentiation, splat operator, use const/function, php input, phpdbg, and more. We will also cover deprecated features in PHP 5.6. About Mark Niebergall

Mark started coding in PHP in 2005 and works for a company based in Denver, Colorado, on an occupational health screening project. He spends most of his days coding in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. Mark is active in his local PHP user group (UPHPU), holds the SSCP and CSSLP certifications, and has even written exam questions for (ISC)2 for the SSCP certification. He also has a masters degree in Management Information Systems. You can often find Mark outdoors fishing, camping, hiking, or just playing basketball outside.
