Smoking Kaali Row: In the latest developments, the Ministry Of External Affairs reacts to Kaali Controversy. Organisers apologized and removed the ‘Kaali’ film in Canada.

Toronto-based filmmaker Leena Manimekalai found herself in soup after she dropped the poster of her documentary Kaali on July 2, on Twitter. The poster depicts a character dressed as Hindu goddess Kaali smoking a cigarette and holding a trident in one hand and an LGBTQ flag in the other.
