Sometimes rainy days are good for a bargain. At least that's what we found at this French village vide-grenier, or brocante if you like, a sort of hometown flea market or swap meet where ordinary people bring out what they just want to get rid of and hopefully make a euro or two as they do. To rein in temptation, I went there with a list and actually managed to check off a few things I'd been looking for, and as one might expect, a few things I didn't need and a few things I wish I'd gotten after all, like those triplets of petanque balls! as well!
