This video is part of my fligth WOG-DVN-WH2-DEV-CHV-WOG. My plan was to deliberately go down to the ridge level and play a bit. I hoped I could reach Devizes, but I decided I'd better not try and cock up my flight.

Wind was about 12kts from 170-180. This was my first time on this ridge and I didn't know if 12kts is enough for this ridge, so it was quite calm flight just a bit faster then my best L/D speed. No surprises except a White Horse, which I didn't know it is there. I know there is one at Uffington :).

A bit tricky part was finding a thermal. First I tried in a place the furthest east, but those forests didn't work. Then I played a bit with another slope, but this stronger surges looked like ridge lift, so I gave up and I went to a place where I had a slope exposed to west, and where I was pretty sure I can find a thermal there. I wasn't disappointed. It wasn't that difficult, was it?
