CalTech's robot Leonardo (short for “LEgs ONboARD drOne") has humanoid legs and drone propellers instead of arms. The bipedal walking robot balances like a drone — because it’s literally got a set of drone propellers instead of arms. Leonardo uses synchronized control of propellers and legged joints.
