I found out that you can use blocks that come to a sharp edge as an air tight seal for large hanger doors, which removes the need for the built in hanger door blocks. I also figured out how to reduce klang by adding a sensor to the merge block to enable the merge block when the door is completely closed. If you use the rotors correctly you can also hide the hinges inside the hanger so that they are better protected.

The Five main required blocks for the build in the video:
8 Rotors
4 Merge Blocks
2 Timer Blocks
1 Sensor
And lots of blocks that come to a sharp edge

4 of the rotors are set to be free moving (2 on each door), 2 of the rotors connected to the ship side of the hinge are set to move 90 degrees with a speed of 0.5 (one on each door), and the 2 connected to the doors are set to move 30 degrees at a speed of 0.1667 (one on each door). This allows the door to pass the ship without getting jammed.

The sensor is placed on one of the merge blocks with a sensor range of 1.25 in the direction of the merge block that it will be connecting to, The action for the sensor will be to toggle the merge block on for both doors.

The first timer will be set to disable the sensor, disable the merge blocks, reverse the rotors, and then start the second timer block.

The second timer block will have a delay of at least two seconds and then will enable the sensor.
