🚑 🚨 You’re responding to a motorcycle accident where you find a patient lying in the roadway who is unresponsive to all stimuli. You begin to assess the patient as your partner maintains c-spine control, and there is no obvious bleeding, his airway is patent, his respirations are normal and about 12 per minute, and his skin is pink, warm, dry. The only notable finding on the rapid trauma assessment is a large hematoma to the right temporal region of his head.
