World record run for fastest time to complete the 2005 game Area 51 (restricted).
This run is restricted, meaning no FPS toggling (and as such no hovering) is allowed.

Closing words & thoughts:

Took about a week to learn the game comfortably whilst playing 10-12 hours per day. It took another 3 days to pull off the WR run that I was satisfied with. All in all it can of course still be improved, perfect play is always a thing, which the video itself is not. With more optimization, more RNG, and more riskier strategies, the time could in theory be shaved off by another 2 minutes at most, making it sub 1h2min. Although this is not a feat easily accomplished and would've taken a very, very long time to achieve (if even possible). That being said, a time of sub 1h is simply impossible to improve by plain gameplay means, unless something else is discovered. Thank you for watching.
