In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Clown with a Duel focused strategy! Clown is a character I've bounced back and forth on personally, mostly due to it not truly clicking in my head that I simply shouldn't be swapping when I play him. There's a lot of great things you can say about Clown, but his swap is absolutely not one of those. All he does essentially is a slightly different version of his in-air attack, which stops you from being able to control him while he's falling through the air. If it did a decent amount of damage and/or had a powerful AoE effect it'd be one thing, but it's neither of those. These days when I play Clown I just build him and only him, and that's significantly improved my Clown gameplay and my opinion of him. He's extremely powerful, and easy to build with. Which, today, the build of choice will be a Duel run! Normally you build clown with Crit Items and in truth that's by and far the best way to play him, but it's nice to branch out a little. Also, I do grab an Invisible Knife anyway, along with crit% items to ensure we can still get that usual Clown goodness. So, that's today's build, Clown and Duel! Clown flies solo these days, so no partner. Can he once again show why he's held in such high regard by the Skul community?
