Making a Charcoal Canister To Get Rid of Fuel Smells

I'm building a charcoal canister from parts you can find at your local hardware store. This project is to get rid of the fuel smell from my garage. Building a kit car, a fuel vapor management system isn't typically included. Here is my attempt at building a charcoal canister from typical stuff you will find at your local hardware store.
