Fishing out of Bayou La Batre towards the end of march I was feeling optimistic this chilly morning and decided to throw nothing but a Rapala skitter walk topwater lure hoping that i could pick up a few quality Speckled Trout for the dinner table. With the warmer water temperatures and the overcast morning, i was sure that id be somewhat successful. Other than the 3 dozen missed blowups, i rounded up a few to eat and more just for fun.
