In an #exclusiveinteraction with Ute Brockmann, Deputy Director General & Head, DE international Services, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (#IGCC), discussed the role of #IGCC in organizing the #GermanPavilion in IMTEX, with Soumi Mitra, Editor-in-Chief, Modern Manufacturing India during the #thoughtleadersession on #BusinessInsights, #SectorOutlook & #Opportunities in #MachineToolsIndustry, organized by #IGCC and Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers'​ Association’ Association (#IMTMA).

Welcoming viewers and introducing Brockmann, Soumi Mitra noted the #insightful #paneldiscussion in the session, which featured perspectives from both #IndoGerman companies and the #Indianmachinetool apex body, #IMTMA.

Talking of #IGCC's function, Brockmann explained that Indo-German Chamber of Commerce regularly supports #Germancompanies in their participation at IMTEX, a practice that has been successfully maintained for several decades. She emphasized #IGCC’s readiness to support the next edition in January 2025, either through the #Germanpavilion or separate presentation booths/stalls.

Highlighting the importance of the #Indianmachinetoolmanufacturing sector to the economy, Brockmann pointed out that the #sector supports other industries such as #automotive, #electronics, #aerospace, and #capitalgoods, creating a #beneficialchainimpact on the #entireeconomy.

Reiterating that the #upcoming IMTEX show will feature many #emerging industry sectors and is expected to attract an #impressivefootfall, Mitra shared that Indo-German Chamber of Commerce is always ready to provide #allsupport to the participating companies for their presence in IMTEX. On a concluding note, Ute encouraged interested companies to contact #IGCC for any kind of #assistance needed in their participation in the upcoming edition of IMTEX, which will take place from January 23-29, 2025 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
