A community event was held on 8 April 2018 to celebrate completion of the new Mandurah Traffic Bridge.
All four lanes were opened to traffic late 2017. Work continued to demolish the old bridge, complete paths, feature boardwalks under the new bridge and landscaping.
The new bridge provides increased capacity and efficiency for road users and improved infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians.
