Our small business of the week:

ECO BREAD – Husband and wife team Yaneck and Marta started their signature homemade baked bread 4 years ago.

Specialising in traditional sourdough bread and my favourite was what initially caught my eye, the Rye Sourdough. Something you don’t easily find in your local bakery in Perth.

Dark Rye, Multigrain, and Traditional Polish Sourdough, freshly baked daily and available in most IGA stores North of Perth. Marmion, Kingsley, Padbury, Mullaloo, Beaumaris, Kinross, and Quinns Rosck IGA stores as well as Gwelup Farmer Jack’s. Go try it, you will love it!

Yaneck and Marta started baking for passion as a hobby back in Poland and when they migrated to Perth, Australia 4 years ago Marta couldn’t find her favourite Rye bread anywhere in town, so her and Yaneck decided to start baking at home. A little while after they started baking some bread for the local Polish community Christmas event which, according to Marta the 70 loaves were all gone in less than an hour.

Today, Yaneck and Marta have turned their hobby and passion for baking into a successful small business selling their amazing homemade baked bread in seven IGA stores, as well as Gwelup Farmer Jack’s North of Perth.
