Описание к видео 10 Pieces of Beginner Photography Advice I Wish I Didn't Take

As a beginner photographer, it can be easy to be overwhelmed by the wealth of photography advice out there. So many people will share often well-intentioned tips for photographers that can seem plausible, but often don't really suit someone just starting out on their photographic journey.

In this video I share ten things that I spent too much time worrying about when I first started in photography, in the hope that you can avoid the same mistakes.

Photography should be fun, and enjoying the progress you make when you first start falling in love with making photos is one of the real pleasures of this art form. If nothing else, I want to encourage you to focus on enjoying your photography, whatever stage you may be at, and take all advice (even mine) with a pinch of salt - don't be afraid to discard what doesn't suit you and incorporate whatever helps. Everyone's circumstances are different and you get to choose how you want to make photos.

The ten things covered are:
Do you need a full frame camera
Should you do a degree in photography
Should you try all genres of photography before deciding which one to concentrate on
Do you need the latest gear and lenses
Sticking to the rule of thirds
How important is sharpness in your photos
Is night photography real photography
Is it good enough to only use natural light
Is using Photoshop or other such software a bad thing
Do you have to shoot in manual mode
